One of the students who died in the road crash is Boniface Ambani, a student who had written a message to his friends, promising to get back to them next week after returning from the games.
Pwani University administration said 120 learners, four drivers and one sports officer left the institution for the games in Eldoret. The driver of the bus did not survive.
