Mwingi residents were left in shock after two brothers fought and ended up killing each other.
The two were out while in the shamba working and a scuffle ensued which turned out to be deep and fatal.
One brother attacked his mate using a panga and inflicted fatal injuries to him. Neighbors rushed to the scene and took the badly injured to the hospital before returning to search his brother so as to know the cause of the scuffle. To their shock, they found the 45 year old brother hanging from the roof of his house. Shortly after, his other brother passed away. This leaves the family with a puzzle of what caused the conflict.
