Details have emerged that several musicians are siding with DJ Fatxo who is currently trending in connection with the death of 23 year old Jeff Mwathi who was at his house on the fateful night.
According to an update by blogger Simon Mwangi who has been pushing for justice for Jeff in the past few days, over 40 musicians including managers and producers met along Bypass yesterday.
Several philanthropists and an elderly controversial preacher who runs a TV station were present at the meeting. They contributed 600,000 Kenyan shillings for lawyers who will help DJ Fatxo in the case.
Many Kikuyu musicians have been facing it rough with their followers for failing to post the trending #Justice for Jeff on their social media pages.
Yesterday, detectives from the homicide department went to DJ Fatxo’s house. Investigations took a new twist after uncertainties over the small window where Jeff was reported to have thrown himself down. The CCTV cameras only captured the body going down. Detectives are now investigating whether Jeff could have jumped from the rooftop.
At the time of the alleged suicide, he was with DJ Fatxo’s cousin and driver who 7 minutes earlier were seen looking around the ground floor where Jeff’s body was found.
