The police officers and 3 other victims including the area chief and Ekuru Aukot’s sister Kanyaman were killed after the bandits raided a village in Turkana and stole cattle.
The bandits ambushed the vehicle in which the late police officers were travelling in to contain the insecurity in the area.
Kanyaman had mobilized the security team. She ferried them using her vehicle.
