Three men from Ilorin district have been arrested and remanded in police custody for allegedly forcing themselves on a Schoolgirl, repeatedly leaving her unconscious in the bush.
According to eyewitnesses reports, the suspects were caught having carnal knowledge with the victim after luring her into a nearby bush, with their hands on her mouth to stop her from shouting somewhere around the busy road.
Illorin police commissioner affirmed the incident, saying the three suspects are being held without bail after being charged with drugging and defiling an 18-year-old a form two girl in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
He further said that one suspect is nursing deep/severe human bite wounds on his tongue and lacerated lips as he was bitten by the victim when she was trying to rescue herself.
“One suspect identified as William Chilambwe (not the real name) has so far been arrested and will be charged for the offense of defilement. The suspect is nursing deep/severe human bite wounds on his tongue and lacerated lips,” Mr. Godfrey said.
