Uganda through a tycoon allied to president Yoweri Museveni’s National resistance movement (NRM) has taken Suna east constituency member of the national assembly Hon Junet Mohamed to a senior Court in Tanzania after what he said.

The Suna east legislator has been sued by the NRM party member at the East africa court of justice to answer to remarks he made last year that suggested Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni as a dictator.

The remarks were uttered amid a standoff and links between the then deputy president William Ruto and Museveni with authorities blocking Ruto’s flight to Uganda.

The suit was filed by the Ugandan Businessman Paul Bamutaze and the hearing starts today.

Other Kenyan leaders named in the case are Ugunja member of the national assembly Hon Opiyo Wandayi, Saboti constituency legislator Caleb Amisi, Okelo Jared, Anthony Otieno, Fatuma Abdi and Millie Odhiambo.

The East African Court of justice based in Arusha is the senior most regional court.
