A young man from Nairobi’s Saika area has gone viral after a photo of him holding a placard asking for a job from President William Ruto was shared online by a Twitter user.
Wycliffe Onyango completed his undergraduate degree in Medicine from Kapsabet University and registered for a Master’s degree at Masinde Muliro University but lacked fees to continue school.
During an interview with Linda Shiundu, Onyango said he would like President William Ruto t offer him a job so he can resume school and pursue a PhD afterwards.
Even though Onyango faces other challenges, including rent and utility arrears, he is pleading with the head of state to offer him a job so that he would resume his studies.
“Even though I have addressed President William Ruto, I would still love a job offer from anybody who has it,” said Onyango.
