Many have been thinking that Uhuru’s association with Raila Odinga spoilt his name but that is not the case. An eminent leader from the region had this tweet in his account.
“Kikuyus pretended to hate Uhuru just because he associated with Raila, nothing like high cost of living or his economic policies. As soon as he embraces Ruto, he’s now the best president ever elected. Your day is coming and I hope William Ruto atawafanyia ile kitu.” he tweeted on Tuesday.
Pundits agree with Ong’ondo that the genesis of Mt Kenya’s rebellion against Uhuru was his choice for Raila who has been considered an “enemy” of the Mountain for decades.
