Sad news reaching our news desk is that there was a stampede at the Kasarani Stadium as many people forced themselves in to witness president elect His Excellency William Samoei Ruto swearing in ceremony.
According to the source, the attendee who were anxious overwhelmed the security guards there by breaking the venue’s gate.
According to the source at least 5 people have already been injured during the stampede and have been taken to the hospital.
All those who have been injured I wish them a quick recovery.
