First it was the president elect William Ruto who took to the podium to take his oaths of office before proceeding to sign them off. The Chief Justice Martha Koome also countersigned the oaths and we’re then sealed with the seal of the Chief Justice.
Next it was Rigathi Gachagua who took to the podium to take his oath of allegiance and oath of office of the deputy president office. On this first oath, Gachagua did very well, but things turned south when he was taking the second oath where he over exitedly added some words apart from the ones that were being administered by the Registrar of the Supreme Court.
