The late police constable John Ogwen who was shot dead by a colleague, Corporal Caroline Kangogo had two wives who only met for the first time during his burial on Friday.
Ogwen was the first man to be killed by killer cop Caroline before she later killed another man in Kiambu County and went missing and was later found dead at her parents’ home.
Ogwen was yesterday laid to rest at his parents’ home in Sengre Village, Rachuonyo East Sub-County in Homa Bay County.
His burial was a rare opportunity for his two wives to meet. Sources said the deceased had two wives but they had not known each other.
According to media reports, the two wives Juliet Ogweno and Audrey Chelagat met on Friday and were at peace with each other.
They even sat next to each other. In between, them was just an empty chair, probably for social distancing purposes (measure to curb the spread of COVID-19).
The two wives were all given a chance to address the mourners, one at a time.
