Good morning girlfriends and wives to alcoholics.
You do know that last evening was the last quality time you spent with your men, right?
After President Uhuru Kenyatta allowed for the reopening of bars, and with the return of the Premier League and other football competitions, we are sorry to burst your bubbles, and say that you will be spending your evenings alone going forward!
Don’t be fooled by the fact the bar closure time was set at 10 PM.
Nobody observes these timelines anymore, leave alone Kenyan drunkards.
Besides, it is not like we are in high school where the night preps end at 10 PM.
While the matter of schools reopening remains largely vague, we think that it was wise of the government to first open up the entertainment and hospitality sectors: Afterall, how were parents whose income depends on these industries expected to raise school fees?
Bottoms up, Mr. President.

New Details Finally Emerge on DP Ruto Snubbing Uhuru’s Event
Deputy President William Ruto was on Monday conspicuously missing from the COVID-19 Conference.
In attendance were his political nemesis, the likes of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi.
To make it worse, it was reported that DP Ruto’s name was blocked at the comment section of the live stream of the Covid-19 conference video.
Uhuru, Raila plot to tame Ruto over 2022 campaigns
Allies of President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga believe that Deputy President William Ruto’s aggressive campaigns will be deflated when the BBI report is unveiled.
The confidants have dismissed Ruto’s frenzied rallies as a waste of time and resources, arguing they will be punctured by the Building Bridges Initiative.
To counter the DP, a series of rallies is lined up across the country in the coming days to prepare the ground for the unveiling of the BBI report.

Omar Lali, the former boyfriend of the late Tecra Muigai, has opened up on little known details about his love affair with the Keroche Breweries heiress.
The 51-year-old Lamu-based native said she met Tecra at a restaurant in Lamu while having dinner with his daughter.
“I had gone to dinner with my daughter who had not been to Kenya in many years. Tecra was at the restaurant with a friend who I happened to know. I said hello to my friend but when I got home my friend called me saying Tecra was asking around for the guy with the grey beard,” he recalled.
