Willy Paul is set to drop a track with Gloria Muliro
We have known for quite some time now that controversial singer Willy Paul was a gospel artist whose sole objective in life was to serve the Lord.
His foray into secular music by releasing songs such as Chuchuma, Bure Kabisa and Lamba Nyonyo was one of the many changes he underwent and he has been controversial since then. It now seems that Willy Paul won’t be Bwana Mkunaji as he stated on 2019’s “HALLELUJAH ” track featuring Nandy. Taking to Instagram, he announced that he will be dropping a song with Gloria Muliro.
Even though he didn’t reveal its release date or title, it is being reported to be a gospel record. The Jigi Jigi came into the limelight with Sitolia, featuring Muliro, in 2014. However, in an interview with a local tabloid, Muliro said she would work with Willy Paul again but they would first have to hold a talk to correct his mistakes.
“As a mother, I love Willy Paul because every parent has different children. I pray for him. I don’t agree with the music he does,” she said.
After all, has been said and done, Willy Paul has earned the right to do what he wants, when he wants, and one doesn’t have to like it. It would still be nice to see him take the transition to righteousness seriously.
