Celebrities Join Kenyans to Remember Victims of DusitD2 Attack

Kenya commemorates exactly one year since the Dusit D2 Complex terror attack by the al-Shabaab militants that claimed the lives of 21 people.

In memory of the victims, a number of celebrities took to their social media accounts to remember them.

Here are some of the celebrities who have joined Kenyans to remember the victims of the Dusit D2 terror attack.

Daddy Owen

The veteran musician  Daddy Owen, who lost his friend James Oduor Radido alias Odu Cobra took to his twitter account to remember him.

Cobra who was an ardent supporter of Gor Mahia cum Journalist lost his life to the terrorist on January 15 terror attack.

Samira Sawlani

The renowned journalist remembered the victims by sharing the article she wrote one year ago.

“Today in 2016, Kenya lost over 150 soldiers in the Battle of El Adde after Al Shabaab overran their Amisom base. The same date last year, Al Shabaab killed 21 people at the Dusit Hotel in Nairobi. Between December 1 and today, more than 25 people have been killed in terror attacks’ he wrote.
