British Band UB40 Say They Are NOT COMING To Kenya

Legendary award winning British band UB40 have denied reports that they will be visiting Kenya next year.

Earlier this week, multiple blogs had published that the 15 gentlemen would be jetting in for the Real Labour of Love 40th Anniversary Tour by UB40 ft Ali Campbell and Astro at Carnivore Gardens on February 1st, 2020.

Through their official Instagram account, the band famed for the songs ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Food For Thought’, ‘One In Ten’ among others, told a fan who had reached out to enquire on the legitimacy of their purported performance in Kenya.

“Is it true you guys are coming to Kenya on February 1st?”, he asked.

“No sorry”, they replied, followed by another message with links to their music.

According to the seemingly fake story that circulated, tickets to the event organized by “The Academy of Arts and Dance” would range from Ksh. 5,000, Ksh. 10,000 and Ksh. 20,000.

UB40 had 40 UK Top 40 hit singles, over 100 million records sale have topped global music charts for over a decade.
