Your hair grows around 0.5 inches (1.25 cm) per month and 6 inches (15 cm) per year. There are certain factors that make your hair appear healthy, they include; age, health, genetics and diet.

The hairline is the lower edge of the hair which is normally at the forehead and extends to the side of the face. It is very depressing when there is no hairline, it limits you from trying different hairstyles. If you have been wondering how to make your hairline grow and glow, here are legit ways;

1. Switch up hairstyles. 

If you have been wondering why your hairline is weak, this is because you are wearing the same hairstyle. After undoing your hair, try another hairstyle. Once your hairdo is worn out, you will notice the hairline behaving differently. It becomes loose, appears weak and begins to cut. Don’t wait till it gets there, simply undo and try a different style. If you had done braids, try a weave, crotchet or wig. This allows your hair to grow and gives your hairline a break from all the tightening.

3. Eat right and have a balanced diet. 

Studies have revealed that when you eat an unbalanced diet you will have unhealthy hair. Foods rich in proteins and iron are highly recommended because they make your hair grow. They contain amino acids and cell proteins that help promote steady hair growth. Other foods that are known to strengthen and promote hair growth include; avocados, nuts, sweet potatoes, beans, spinach, berries and eggs.

4. Moisturize your hair with a natural conditioner. 

By doing this it makes your hair stronger, thicker and not easy to break. There are different kinds of conditioner. it’s up to you to figure out what you feel will work for you. There are three main types of conditioners which include; rinse-out, leave-in and deep treatment. Make sure to apply the conditioner immediately after rinsing your hair and leave it in for 2 to 3 minutes before rinsing it out with lukewarm water.

5. Take a break from plaiting your hairstyles. 

If you have been plaiting, take a chill pill and let your hair breathe. Some hairstyles are known to pull the hairline and make it weak.
