On Monday morning, Kenyans woke up to the sad news of the death of seven pupils of Precious Talent School along Ngong Road after a classroom collapsed on them.
The incident which happened at around 6 a.m left 64 injured while only two were in a critical condition, Dr Komori from Kenyatta National Hospital confirmed.
The owner of the school, Moses Wainaina, said the accident may have been caused by the construction of a sewer line which he claimed halted the foundation of the school building.
He also told reporters that the floor had at least 200 students, while the school’s total population stood at 800.
He added that the incident was accidental and send condolences to the family adding that the school had large numbers since the area had no public school.
Ford Kenya Party chairman, Moses Wetangula, sent his condolence urging safety standards to be ensured in all buildings in the country and emphasizing on accountability on those who did mediocre jobs.

The ODM party, the official opposition party in Kenya, also sent their condolences praying for a quick recovery to the victims and the families affected.
