Private Investigator Jane Mugo on Friday came broke her silence following the arrest warrant issued on her by the DCI.

Mugo who is also the CEO of Trimo Security Limited, stated that the manhunt issued on her was as a result of investigating rogue police officers.

She claimed that the move by the authorities is plan aimed to silence her.

“I saw it coming, police want to silence me. I’ve done investigations touching on senior police officers.” remarked the private investigator while speaking to Citizen TV.

On Wednesday, the DCI had warned the public that Mugo was a serial criminal being pursued by the police for various offences.

The offences pinned on her included robbery with violence, impersonation and threatening to kill.

According to the police, the suspect was alleged to have threatened to kill a man who she claimed was a spy for a Director of unnamed company she was investigation.

Information from the DCI pointed out that the incident took place at New Muthaiga Estate in August this year where she had drawn a pistol on the victim.

Wawira was further accused of being the perpetrator in an incident in 2016 where her employees robbed a citizen Sh90,000.

The man was attacked by three people identified as Isacc Ndirangu, Noreen Malala and Michael Gita who introduced themselves as police officers.

The three culprits were later arrested and a radio phone, handcuffs and a pistol recovered from them.
